Ok! this is a long one!
My second birthday started with me meeting up with Penny and John to wait for Samantha TONG to have a steamboat dinner at Marina Bay.
Well, she was late, because of her CCA. So me and Penny decided to take some pictures while John studies for his driving theory test. Believe me, some of the questions there are RUBBISH!
So after Sam arrived with some "left-over cake" we went to find a good steamboat shop to eat at.
Sadly, the one we wanted, the one we walked 2 bus stops for, was packed!
I soon found out why it was full!
Your food, like prawn and fish, are ALIVE!
You gotta catch them yourself!
How cool is that!
As i passed by the Styrofoam box, where the prawns were kept,
i let out a laugh at the sight of 2 prawn who tried to escape by jumping out.
but they however landed on the box's lid and died! ha ha! sad!
Any way...
we walked back the 2 bus stops's length and finally found a table!
Dinner was great!
Really filling! We almost exploded!
We had a good old fashion stick ice cream for dessert!
We decided to go bowling to give our tummy some time to digest our food.
Now listen up. I have NEVER! I repeat, NEVER bowled before.
The rest of my friends that day had done so before.
Be it 13 years ago or weeks ago.
I love bowling! Its so fun!
I guess i would say that as i striked twice!
What can i say, beginner's luck???
Of course the person, who was the only one who didn't strike at all, wouldn't say so...
I'm not gonna name any names....
We were choking back some vomit when we saw that!
At the end of the match, my lead was threatened by John who equaled my score of 56.
Once again, i must remind you i have never played the game!
So after exercising our thumb and 3rd and 4th fingers,
time to exercise our index finder with some shooting arcade games!
It was hell fun! It was long since i shot some Zombies!
It's damn addictive!
The time was about 11.30pm now.
We decided to collect the cake and head back home.
P.S. Do NOT use the toilets there! They are HORRIBLE!!!!
Like SERIOUSLY!
So we collected the cake and started to walk aimlessly...
I assumed the rest knew where they were going...
Me and Penny walked in front while John and Sam tried to catch up with us.
While we were walking on the pathway, surrounded by trees and the road to our left,
Penny and I noticed something moving on the floor.
So we did a ber hanti(command for stop) and stared at the floor.
This was of course accompanied by our screams as we realised that it was a cockroach!
There were plenty of them!
At one point of time there would be 5 near your foot!
Good thing i wore shoes!
Penny however started walking in a weird manner that resembled the India police's march!
Trying her best to avoid the roaches!
And every time we saw one, we screamed our lungs out, waking up the dead!
Then along came Sam, who i expected to scream with us, but simply made fun of us! hm mm....
So we did some foot drill to calm our nerves at 12 plus in the morning!
Funny Right!
Then as i turned back to laugh, i saw a bunch of candles greeting me.
John was holding a cake (supposingly the left over cake) in his hands with the word Happy Birthday on it!
I have to admit guys, i was touched!
I tried hard not to let the lump in my throat be heard as i forced back my tears!
It was a simple yet best birthday i had!
So as i blew out my candles, i wished for more happy times like this.
Oops! I told you guys my wish!
I cut a slice for everyone and fed them.
and we decided to finish the cake sitting on the road kerb waiting for a taxi.
(which never came)
We cam whored and ate cake!
Late into the night with great company!
Then like something out of a friction book, a van stopped and offered us a lift back to the outside world where we shared a cab back home
Truly not a grand yet heavenly birthday!
I couldn't ask for anything better than to spend my days with you.
Thanks guys!
